Chinese Garden of Friendship Wayfinding and Interpretive Signage
We designed a series of exciting interpretive and wayfinding signs for one of Sydney’s most stunning cultural sites.
In 2022, we completed a Heritage Interpretation Plan for the Chinese Garden of Friendship in the heart of Darling Harbour. We were later engaged by Place Management NSW to develop, print and install a suite of wayfinding and interpretation signs for the site.

The Chinese Garden of Friendship represents the long and important history of multiculturalism in Sydney, particularly the Chinese community that has prospered in Australia since the mid-1800s. The garden is a favourite destination for tourists and locals alike and is a centre of tranquillity in the middle of the CBD.
Our suite of interpretive signs engages visitors with key features of traditional Chinese gardens and Chinese culture. We are currently installing the signs and works will be completed by June 2025.
