Bunbury Museum
We designed a flexible and dynamic space in the beautifully restored Paisley Building to tell Bunbury’s history.
In 2015, we were engaged to develop concept and developed design for the new Bunbury Museum and Heritage Centre, the first museum to be developed in WA’s south-west for many years. The brief for the museum was to create a compelling, accessible and contemporary visitor experience that showcased the City of Bunbury’s new collection of historical material. Our team designed a museum space that brought together objects, sculptural installations, multimedia, graphic panels and community displays. Our display modules were made of recycled timber from the dismantled Bunbury Jetty, in line with our policy of sustainable design.
