Our scope of works included developing a suite of wayfinding, educational, interpretive and taxonomic signs that communicated the natural and cultural heritage values of Penang Hill, including its flora and fauna. We developed one set of interpretive signage for adults and another for children. Other interpretive elements, such as 3D laser-cut Corten steel animal sculptures, complement the signage and enhance the visitor experience. SHP also developed a wayfinding strategy and designed all major and minor wayfinding signage for The Habitat.
We engaged local manufacturers for the installation, which is our practice in all national and international projects.
